What is pH ?

  • pH  ranges from 0 to 14.   A pH  of  7 is neutral,  less then 7 is acidic and 7 or higher  is alkaline.

  •  pH 7, water contains equal concentrations of H+ and OH- ions. Substances with a pH less than 7 are acidic because they contain a higher concentration of H+ ions. Higher concentration of OH- than H+.

  • The pH scale is a logarithmic scale, it  changes  tenfold  in the concentration of hydrogen ions .  pH 6 is  ten times more acidic than pH 7.   A pH 5 is  a hundred times more acid than pH 7.

  • All living beings,  people, animals, reptiles, fish and plant life are extremely sensitive to pH. Human blood plasma and other fluids that surround the cells in the body have a pH of 7.2 to 7.45.

  • If blood pH were 6.9,  it would induce coma and death. That is why pH balancing is so important for our health and well being.  Our bodies will willingly shut down digestion, alter temperature, rob your bones of calcium, deprive your pancreas, just to maintain adequate fluid buffers of alkalinity to balance the 'acid tide' we inflict upon ourselves through diet or stress .

Ideal Body  pH Range levels

  • The saliva pH of a healthy person is in the 7.5 to 7.1 slightly alkaline range. The range is  from 6.5 , weakly acidic to 4.5  strongly acidic .

  • The urine pH in a health person is more acidic then the ideal saliva pH. A healthy urine pH range is 6.5 to 7.0+. Urinary pH can be lower in  the morning and higher in the evening.

  • Most children have a pH of 7.5. or slightly higher.

  • Over half of adults have a pH of 6.5 or lower, reflecting the calcium deficiency of aging and lifestyle defects.

  • Cancer patients are usually a bright yellow, a pH of 4.5, especially when terminal.

 Balancing pH

Body  pH is directly effected by  food and water consumed.  What we don't eat or drink can be as helpful or harmful as what we do eat or drink.

It is vitally important for a person to have a balanced nutritional diet. Eating healthy quantities of each of the 5 food groups is essential.  Those are  fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins, and dairy.

In addition drinking alkaline water will help to balance and maintain healthy pH in the body.  It can off set acidic tendencies and flush out toxins which would otherwise occur and remain in the body.

A person cannot maintain a nutritionally unbalanced diet and hope to compensate with Alkaline water to maintain optimum health.

The Loveb Water made from the Lovebs Beads are a easy, safe and inexpensive way to make Alkaline Water. The quality of Lovebs water will surpass most all tap or bottled water on the market.
